What's the best mens hair coloring for do it yourselfers...?

I am a stylist just trying to help

there is no difference tween mens hair and womens hair chemincally speaking. dont get sucked into a mans only product. use a semi-permanent haircolour by L'Oreal. Its the gentlest on your hair out there. Will last about 6 weeks provided you use a non - alkaline shampoo NOT BABY SHAMPPO it will strip your hair. Try something by Joico for colour treated hair. Good luck

Personally I am a grey fanatic...My hubby is finally getting a few greys and I am tickled pink...

But you didn't ask that...LOL...I would say go for a light brown. Dark brown or black will cover the greys better but the greys will also show up a lot quicker due to the contrast on the dark dye color.

Do not use "men's haircolor". They think men all have the same color hair and it looks totally fake. Match regular semipermanent color to your natural and use that. Clairol is always a safe bet. Then get a shampoo made for color-treated hair so you don't strip you color out after a week.
