It may dry your hair some, but w/ you being a male you probably keep your hair fairly short? I don't think it will make your hair damaged.

Use a good conditioner to add moisture and you'll be fine.

Good Luck!!

The chemicals in hair dye can definitely fry your hair

It's going to make your hair more dry and unhealthy if you highlight it to much. My advice to you is to highlight a different spot, or stop highlighting your hair altogether. Natural color is always best.

Is It True That If You Keep......??

It is true that if you highlight your hair in exactly the same spots repeatedly, you are more likely to cause serious damage to those particular spots. HOWEVER, it's really difficult to highlight the EXACT same spot every time. Just wait at least six weeks between applications and you'll be fine. If the texture of your hair feels weird or if you start to notice breakage, you MUST go to a professional colorist and have them assess your situation. They may have some corrective suggestions. Good luck!

If your hair have not been damaged with the other highligher, then hopefully it will be okay. Then again if it damages your hair just don't use it again repair your hair with growth treatment like using vitamin e and some growing hair solution.

I highlight my hair too. I found over the years that it did seem to damage my hair. In fact two years ago i ended up chopping off all my hair and starting over. Now, when ever i think that it's getting kinda nasty i just die it all one color wait a few months and then start the highlighting again. This also looks better then re-highlighting over and over again.

Yes That is true!

Is It True That If You Keep......??

yes it will it can damage your hair alot ecspecially your roots

Is It True That If You Keep......??

So long as you are keeping it trimmed every so often and using a very good conditioner.. it should be ok to highlight about every 2 months or so.

Is It True That If You Keep......??

Yes it is very true.Because you are processing the same hair twice. And if you do notice your hair breaking or if it starts to feal like overcooked angel hair pasta its too late. There is nothing left to do but let it grow out. It is best to wait 4-6weeks between applications. You should just get Hi-lights done professionally because it will cost you alot more to fix the damage,if it can be fixed at all, than it is to get them done right from the start. The reasonning for that is because if you are using the drugstore stuff it has to work on everybodies hair so its the strongest formulation. where as if you get the service done in a salon the stylist custum makes the formula to suit your hair type as not to fry your hair.

I am a Hairdesigner And that is my professional opinion.

Is It True That If You Keep......??

if you are goin to keep highlighting you hair only do the regrowth... of you keep doing the whole hair shaft you will damage your hai and real fast... bleach is very potent... if you want something to keep you highlights bright go to your salon where you get your hair cut ... they have shampoos that are used for just that reason.. cant think of the name off of the top of my head, but your stylist will know just what i mean.....
