My friend wants to know a good shampoo for dandruff, apart from Head and Shoulders. She says it contains too many chemicals and leads to grey hairs. One of my friends uses the Selsun Blue "Daily" Shampoo as well as the "Medicated" one once in a while (the last one's stronger). He had a really bad case of dandruff and other shampoos didn't work for him -not even Head%26amp;Shoulders- but Selsum Blue did help him.I'm not so sure about if not damaging your hair but I know it works. The bad thing though is that he says it stinks real bad!

Please tell your friend that dandruff is actually a fungus that lives on the scalp. We all have it. The doctor can write a script for it or they should try Nizoral from the drugstore. My daughter has had many flare-ups with the dandruff/fungus. Another option is to rinse your hair with mouthwash, which will also decrease the fungus' growth. Good luck!
