No, it's the same chemicals. But the men's is only available in temporary color. If you want permanent, you'll have to get women's.

I believe men's hair strands tends to be a bit coarser, meaning harder to dye to a degree. But don't quote me on that.

No. Just for Men is made to make men feel more comfortable dying their hair. So they don't feel gay.

No, hair is hair. The only difference is the hair of the beard and moustache - they are more resistant to the hair color. Regular hair color can be used, but may need to be left longer for the beard. Gray hair typically covers well in about 35 - 45 minutes. The just for men products are formulated for easy use, and they do work - just keep in mind that the colors they show on the boxes are not always accurate for your hair color. All color "swatches" are done on hair with no color pigment (completely white) hair, so your underlying hair color will often make the color look different on your hair as opposed to the box. Go for about two shades lighter than the color stated on the box (to clairify - if you choose a box that says dark brown your hair will be black! If what you really want is dark or medium brown, choose a box that says light brown). Also, be sure to use a shampoo for color treated hair. If you use one that says "deep cleansing" or one to strip chlorine, it will also strip your color. If you don't have much gray consider using one of the colored shampoos available out there almost anywhere. They come in brown, red and for blondes - they add just a little color each time you shampoo. You should see a difference in just a week or two if you leave it on for a couple of minutes before you rinse it out.

Men and women have the same types of hair texture and will color greys the same way, however keep in mind that one is feminine and one is masculine and you should personlize the color to suit each one correctly.
