But could i use it to darken mine? i have way lighter facial hair than i do on my head. could i use that or would it change my beard some crazy color

Buy a shade darker than your normal beard.
When I am in a drama part at church, I use it because my almost white beard gets washed out by the lights.

Yes, or you could just use hair dye, when I dye my husabands hair black, I dye his sideburns and facial hair also. Use a eyebrow comb and brush so you dont stain the facial skin
