Just that some people have a very pale complexion and may not look so good wiht dark black hair. Or some people have really tanned complexion or even a nice olive tone. So you don't ever want to dye your hair a color that will make your skin jump out at people. Its best to go with high lights, or dark lights but keep natural hair color.
