My hair is about 25% white speckled thru hair need help..read on?

When I try to color near my color or darker the grey goes right thru even with professional. I don't mind going white but what would be the best way to go thru this? Frost? or a slightly lighter color than my natural all over?

I have a similar problem. I go with a slightly lighter colour, then even lighter highlights, with a darker underlight at the nape of my neck.

Try lightening your overall color so the white blends in. Lighter hair is usually more flattering as you age. Maybe you'd be a lovely platinum blonde.

I'm going through the same thing....it got to where i was not able to combat the grey with home coloring....I called the local beauty school %26amp; for the fraction of the price of a regular salon, they effectively color my grey, keep a record of the formula of my color mixture %26amp; about every 2 months I go in for a touch up....just a suggestion...good luck

Perhaps I'm out of line, but as a "mature" male... I find it a bit sexy for a woman to have salt and pepper... But I suppose since you are at a quandry regarding this.... most likely got lighter..

I would really say...go lighter with lighter highlights even. If you do it multitone, even if the gray shows through it will blend alot better.....
