Black hair with pale skin??

I have natural dirty blonde hair and i dyed it medium-dark brown. I have kinda pale skin with hazel eyes. Now i want to go darker to black. My boyfriend said it would look beautiful but he thinks that either way. I just dont want it to fade out to purple or grey. Any suggestions??

Btw, i dont really care if i look gothic. =]

I think you should keep it brown if you have pale skin.

Have it done at a professional salon. It's less likely to do damage and will be more resilient to environmental stressers that could cause fading. Make sure they use a low-ammonia formula. They can always do a color correction process if you change your mind.

I think it'll look cute and good on you don't care on looking goth. I don't dye my hair so I dunno for dying it and then it fading. my friend has done it and I don't really see it fading much but everyone has different hair types.

i have naturally dirty blonde hair and light skin as well and i went threw a dyed black hair phase in high school...i got a lot of compliments but since i have light eyebrows (i couldnt see myself dying those!) and the dark hair washed me out really bad, especially in pictures...and most of the time my hair only faded to brown, never a purple or blue, if youre scared of that happening stay away from the dyes that have that purple/blue tint to it and try to find some "natural black" colors...

I was about to say that you would look gothic. Well wait a couple days till the hair gets used to the color then dy it a different color. PS do not dy hair in a short amount of days, then it will turn orange or somthing.
